Nativity Information

FIRST: KEY DATES FOR ALL TO KNOW-

• Nov. 25-Dec. 9: the gym will not be available for other activities

• Dec. 1-4: big set-up days. The entire building will not be available for other activities, but we encourage classes, quorums, individuals, and families to come help!

• Dec. 5-7: the exhibit will be open

• Monday, Dec 8: Big clean up!

SECOND: YOUTH INVOLVEMENT (All of these activities will be for the youth from both wards)

• Moving items from the barn- Tuesday November 25th  7:00 p.m. at Derek & Courtney Wall’s house 2715 East Siebert (off of Eastman approx. 3 miles north of Midland Mall).  (no more stairs!!!)

Please meet at the Derek & Courtney Wall’s at 7:00 and be picked up at the church at 8:30. We provide trailers and trucks, but we need youth leaders to attend and help drive the youth.

• Setting up trees at the church- This is an optional youth activity.  We meet in the church gym Wednesday, November 26th  immediately after school (half day) until 4:00 p.m.   Youth are welcome to come and go according to their own timing.  Pizza, pop, fruit, & treats provided.   This is a great opportunity for youth to invite friends and serve side by side, but many youth may not know this is an option so please feel free to inform them they can bring friends.  The nativity committee runs this activity, and we do not expect youth leaders to attend. 

• Returning items to the Wall’s barn- Tuesday December 9th  7:00-8:30 p.m.  Please have the youth meet and get picked up at the church.  We need all youth leaders to attend and help lead the youth.

• During the week of set-up all youth activities are to be held at a location other than the church.  However, we also invite classes or quorums to help with set up for their weekly activity. If you'd like to do this, please let us know and we can help suggest an activity that will take the appropriate amount of time and fit into the week's workflow.
