November 2025 Edition
The Dudley and Wechter families welcomed new baby girls, while the ward mourned the passing of Karen Smart. The annual Nativity Exhibit returns with over 1,300 scenes and a Christmas concert. Missionaries shared updates from Zimbabwe to Pahrump, NV, and Activity Day Girls shined in a talent show full of music, art, and sweet treats
October 2025 Edition
President Dallin H. Oaks was announced as the new prophet following the passing of President Nelson. The ward welcomed Elder Haws and celebrated new missionary updates, a baptism, and spiritual reflections from around the globe. Youth participated in band showcases and themed Activity Days, and the ward mourned the loss of Garry Klopf.
September 2025 Edition
The ward welcomed several new members and families, including Adam Thomas, Orvil Parry, Mary McArthur, and Bern and Michelle Case. A new baby, Elijah Ray Williams, was born, and Elder Covili joined the missionary team. Updates from missionaries include transfers, baptisms, and spiritual growth—and Logan Flint and Brooklen Gillis began their MTC training.
August 2025 Edition
The Schneiders returned to Midland, and three new families joined the ward, including the Mangelsons, Fishers, and Elder Ryan. Missionaries shared stories of baptisms, transfers, and acts of service, while new stake youth leaders were sustained.
July 2025 Edition
Logan Flint received a mission call to Kentucky, and Liberty Skym was baptized. The Okesons prepared to move to China for a teaching assignment, while the Elkins and Zamora families joined the ward. Missionaries shared spiritual insights and celebrated multiple baptisms.
June 2025 Edition
Quinn Engelby was baptized, and the Wall family welcomed a new baby girl. Sister Sydona Parks returned home for medical reasons but continues serving locally. Elder Johnson joined as a new missionary, and the Smarts and Marshalls celebrated new grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
May 2025 Edition
Six seniors graduated from Dow High, each with unique talents and future plans. Bambi and James Meir were baptized, and Kevin Okeson announced his retirement. Elder Brisco joined the ward as a new missionary, and Stake Conference was held mid-May.
April 2025 Edition
Samuel Hales received a mission call to Zimbabwe, and missionaries shared uplifting General Conference reflections. The YSA Conference was announced, and Mary Pazham was recognized after moving to India. Primary girls enjoyed cookie-making and a Japanese-themed activity.
March 2025 Edition
Levi Russell was baptized on March 12, and Justin Potter began his mission in Tucson, AZ. General Conference is April 5-6, with a goal to invite friends to watch. Ward youth star in Singin’ in the Rain, and members participated in Lamb of God.
February 2025 Edition
Matt and Kirsten Gardner moved from Ohio with their three children. Kirsten will work at MyMichigan Healthcare while pursuing certification. Ward youth joined the Michigan Music Conference and The Little Mermaid Jr. Missionaries shared inspiring experiences, and Elder Lane Geren joined as a companion. The next newsletter is March 16.
January 2025 Edition
Jenny Lowe shared the story of her family’s painting, And a Child Shall Lead Them. Young men advanced in the Aaronic Priesthood, and young women joined Young Women. Lamb of God is on February 22, and members are encouraged to keep temple recommends active.
